Are you an aspiring green entrepreneur in Addis Ababa with a promising idea to tackle waste or promote circular solutions? The 2025 Green Innovation Lab—powered by Reach for Change and the IKEA Foundation—is here to support early-stage innovators like you. Building on the success and learnings of our 2024 Green Innovation Lab program, this year’s program has been refined to better address key challenges, including business registration. Through hands-on training and tailored support, the Lab will help you develop, test, and validate your Minimum Viable Product, with the goal of launching and formally registering 45 new circular and waste-focused enterprises in 2025. Join us in creating a cleaner, more sustainable future.
The Green Innovation Lab is a buildup to the learnings and results of the pilot Green Entrepreneurs Bootcamp we organized in 2022. The results from the pilot showed that businesses still struggle with business registration, hence the scope of the training vis-a-vis the curriculum has been revised to adjust to these learnings.
The program aims to develop, test, and validate Minimum Viable Products, and where successful, to establish and register waste management and circular enterprises in Ethiopia.
